COMPETITIVE ( DOB 2006-2017)
SVSC Competitive Teams compete in League and Tournament play against teams outside of SVSC from Central Florida and beyond. They train and compete under a dedicated coach with a long-term developmental plan for players and teams to progress to higher levels as they grow.
Ages
Competitive teams from at U9 and older ages.
When
Teams train and compete during the Fall and Spring seasons.
Training begins in early August and continues through the end of November. Training resumes in early February and continues through the end of May.
There are optional training opportunities during Summer and Winter off-seasons.
Where
All practices and home games are at the New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex. Away games are in various locations throughout Central Florida, generally within an hour's drive.
Practices
Teams usually train on Tuesdays/Thursdays during the 1st and last week, and Tue/Wed/Thu on the 2nd and 3rd week of the month. Practices last 1.5 hours.
Games
Teams play 8-10 league matches on weekends each season, Fall & Spring. A typical balance is 75% Saturdays, 25% Sundays after church.
Uniforms
Order your uniform separately online in the club store. Players order two complete match kits, two complete training kits, and a backpack is optional.
Cost
$1,200 paid via monthly installments. There is a $100 discount if you pay in full at registration.
Uniforms cost about $250 for the complete package.
Tournament fees are paid separately and vary from team to team.
2024-2025
Each competitive team has its own dedicated coach and trains on specific days throughout the month. During the first and last week of the month, they train on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the second and third week of the month, they train on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Most games take place on Saturdays, but some may be scheduled on Sundays. Competitive teams usually participate in 8-10 games during each Fall and Spring season, and they may also enter tournaments occasionally. Competitive players register for Fall AND Spring rather than one or both seasons.
